You know what I really dislike? Going to the movies and seeing a hero with some awesome superpower that I will never have. I always end up leaving the theater feeling like I am missing out or as if my life is incomplete or boring. I strongly believe that most of us have all wanted superpowers at one time or another, and that many of us have been secretly waiting to discover what our hidden power is.
But now, in my 30’s and dejected, I know I will never be able to fly or have the power of telekinesis. I have finally come to terms with this fact and with this epiphany came peace. But this doesn’t mean I can’t fantasize about having them still! And thus, this quiz was born.
Originally, it started out as a conversation between my partner and I one fateful afternoon in a restaurant on Battlefield, in Springfield, Missouri. As we racked our brains we started asking the servers, the bartenders and whoever else worked in the pub so as to leverage and gain a variety of answers. The cliché answers such as flying, and super strength were born. One mother spoke her wishes to be a “Baby whisperer.” This one was most likely born from the fact of her having two littles at home.
The list grew in size until finally I felt it was ready. But upon returning home I realized that there were a lot of “What’s Your Superpower” quizzes out there already. So, in an effort to be different, the What’s Your Useless Superpower quiz was originated.
Have fun with this little quiz…again, as with most of them on this website they are based on no facts whatsoever as I am sure you will find after taking this one. Let me know your thoughts and what you got!
