Breakfast Restaurants in Springfield, MO. –
If there’s one thing for certain, Celine loves breakfast- whether she’s whipping up pancakes at home, or enjoying a lovely omelet at one of Springfield’s many happening breakfast restaurants. We put our heads together and came up with a few of our favorites.

They have a few locations – there’s one on Campbell, one on Battlefield, and one on the North side. Aside from breakfast, they also serve lunch and provide catering services. Why have lunch when you can have second breakfast?
They have a location on National Ave. and are getting ready to open another one on Sunshine St. and Plaza, and they have uh-mazing coffee. And if you are a fan of eggs benedict, they have several variations of the classic which are sure to please.
The early bird breakfast pub is most memorable for us due to their massive mimosas. Early Bird also has very generous portions of brekkie items. I like that because most of the time I can’t finish my food, so I get to take home leftovers and have a second meal later on! It makes me feel like I am adulting successfully.
This is an OLD coffee shop in Springfield, MO. which still takes cash only. Located on Glenstone, this place offers breakfast and lunch as do most of the other breakfast cafés on this list. And may I just say they have some pretty good biscuits and gravy.

Their hot mess is pretty good too. Also, they support local farmers and source most of their ingredients from local businesses.
Another fav… . Whether it’s their Southwestern omelet, Julia’s tacos, or their sweet potato hash browns, I’ve yet to be disappointed by Gailey’s. In fact, Celine and I sometimes grab lunch here. Between here and the Aviary downtown, we are regulars.
They serve breakfast, lunch AND dinner and is a nice family restaurant. The food is fantastic if you had a little too much to drink the night before. It’s comfort food, and they also have something called grits. I’ve never had them, but perhaps one day, when the stars align, I shall give them a go.
This posh place is located on East Independence and they handcraft their own bread…over 25 varieties to be exact! And they are made without preservatives and artificial ingredients. They have some pretty stellar sandwiches if I may say so myself.
