Unfortunately for me, I chase my kiddo out of the kitchen when I am cooking. Aside from microwaved popcorn and peanut butter jelly sandwiches, my little has been trained to stay out of my way. MasterChef Jr. is searching nationwide for children who love to cook and who want to try out for this fun, lighthearted show! Keep in mind, all interested candidates must be pre-registered by their parents on this website.
How to Register Your Child for MasterChef Junior
Keep in mind, there are 31 questions for parents to fill out – so you may want to set aside 30 minutes to do this. Here’s what you are going to need to know before registering:
~ Be prepared to upload a photo of your child where we can clearly see their smiling face.
~ Be prepared to upload a photo of your child’s best food creation (could be sweet or savory).
~ Please make sure to answer questions #12 and #13 that will let us know if you plan to attend an open call audition or send in a home video.
~ Question #30 suggests uploading a two-minute video of your child. This should just be a quick intro. so we can get a sense of your child’s personality and passion for cooking. Let them be themselves! Whether they are outgoing and flamboyant or quiet and focused, no need to pretend to be something they are not.
