$25 Gets You Food and Fun with Gal Pals In Springfield, Mo
LAST CHANCE TO RSVP!! Ticket sales end at midnight!
What’s better than wine and cocktails on a Wednesday night? All that AND dressing up with some of the most awesome gals in Springfield, Mo!
So ladies, just because you didn’t register for our early bird doesn’t mean you can’t hang out with us. We still have a bit of room available at our next Ladies’ Night Out – and it is just a few days away! September 7th, 6pm at Gilardi’s on Walnut marks our next event, and the theme is Warm Summer Nights. And yes, you HAVE to dress up.
Why Do I Have to Dress Up, Jana?
Personally, I was never really a fan of dressing up. I was one of those girls who attended her college classes in her PJs and couldn’t be bothered with make-up half the time. Fast forward a few years and I found myself in an environment where dressing up was an important part of everyday life – it was embedded in the culture! I’ll be honest, since rejoining the Springfield scene I have had the occasional late-night Walmart shopping experiences in my mamma-jammas – but that is late at night. That doesn’t count right?
WRONG! You are representing yourself 100% of the time! In the words of some very smart person who said a really great quote that I found on the internet, “Being well-dressed is a beautiful form of politeness.” Dressing well is a way of saying, “I not only care about how I look, but I care about our interaction, albeit professional or personal, and you mean more to me than simply wearing yoga pants and an old spaghetti-stained T-shirt.”
The point is this: something magical happens when we look our best. We exude an air of confidence, we feel better about ourselves and people tend to notice.

I have had the honor of meeting up with Kandice, the owner and founder of 5Elements aesthetics and make-up studio, and she is currently starting her own personal styling business. It is the coolest thing! She basically supports people by rummaging through the closet, taking them shopping and making them look like a million dollars without having to spend that amount of money. In fact, she does have some pretty high-end clientele which is why I was so excited to learn about her biz. She has literally helped her clients close more sales by dressing them for the part. But I digress!
Hey Jana – Get Back to Ladies’ Night Out!
What is cool about our Ladies’ nights is that it serves as a place where women can come together, schmooze, unwind and let their hair down in a private and safe space all while looking and feeling their best. There will be appetizers, drinks, grand prizes and more.
Ladies’ night out is more than a women-only mixer, it is a place where you can be safe to express yourself fully with other like-minded women. It doesn’t matter if you are married, single, divorced, working, a parent or not – if you are a woman (or identify as a woman), Ladies’ Night Out was created with you in mind.
So, if you would like to purchase tickets for September 7th, 6pm – 8pm at Gilardi’s Italian ristorante on Walnut street all you need to do is click here and reserve your space. You can either bring $25 cash that evening after RSVPing or pay for your ticket here. Keep in mind that WeDames is a social nonprofit which means we don’t keep one penny of your $25 – all of it goes to Gilardi’s to pay for your appetizers and drinks!
Keep a look out for our next event and be sure to be one of the first 30 women to register – you will be able to attend our Ladie’s Night Out event for FREE!
Looking forward to seeing you there!
