I love it when a bunch of awesome ladies get together to hang out, meet one another and schmooze the night away at a local eatery, and last night was no exception!
First and foremost, I would like to apologize to anyone who was unable to get a Ladies’ Night Out ticket in time – the tickets were gone in record time, 3 ½ hours to be exact. In order to prevent the old “scarcity-selling” technique, I will be personally grinding the next few months for more financial sponsorship so more women can join our fun little gatherings. So if you know any marketing managers looking to allocate a small portion of their budget, give me a jingle!…or click here.
What Happened Last Night at Ladies’ Night Out?
The festivities started around 6pm at Touch Restaurant and Oyster House on Republic road in the Merlot Room. If you haven’t been here, this place has decadent food and a romantic ambiance paralleled to none. If that wasn’t enough, our private room was located upstairs, away from prying eyes and those wondering why we were laughing so much! I live for these events, I really do. Here are a few of my favorite photos:
All the attendees had their choice of two drinks – either wine or beer – and amazing appetizers like bacon-wrapped dates, cheese ravioli marinara, and a dip station with delicious toast points.
We also had goodie bags filled with:
- necklaces and WeDames vinyl lettering from Arts & Letters (this store is marvelous by the way),
- free 45-min studio session with photographer Erin from Gambles Photography,
- eye serum and personalized notebooks from Nerium Skincare,
- and compact mirrors from our resident Wells Fargo financial planner, Tammy!
But that wasn’t all, we also had two grand prizes: one for best dressed and the other was a lucky draw. The ladies vote on who is the best dressed for the evening… our panel of judges are the attendees themselves! The winner of best dressed was Jill Marcum and she received a pearl necklace and earring set along with a three (3) month contract with Kandice for personal styling. The other grand prize was the result of a lucky draw – drew by none other than our very own Celine Roberts. The winner of this prize was Molly Fralicke, and she won a pearl necklace and earring set and decadent lotion, bath gel and perfume spray from PureRomance!
A very special thanks to
- Kandice from 5Elements Esthetics and Makeup Studio for giving away three months of personal styling,
- Jerika from PureRomance for donating luscious body wash, fragrance and lotion,
- And from Xiao Ya Creative solutions for the lovely pearl necklace and earring sets!
It ended up being a jewelry fiesta last night – the only things missing were the diamonds!
Erin Gamble did an awesome job playing games with our guests – she was our featured sponsor for the evening and wowed us with her selfie tutorials and the “Can You Spot the Differences” game. We had two of her uh-mazing photos side by side with subtle changes in each of the photos. The first team who won received chocolate as a prize (yum)!
All in all, it was a blast: we played games, schmoozed and had fun until 9pm and everyone was decked out in their best blue attire. I wonder what the theme shall be for the next Ladies’ Night Out… what do YOU think? Really, I wanna know – leave your suggestions below or text me!
