There are tons of things to do with family and kids in Springfield, Missouri during the Easter holiday – and if I can keep myself and my mini-me entertained while supporting local business, it’s all the better! This Saturday, April 15th, 2017 starting at 8:00 am, there will be tons of fun and festivities for the whole family at the farmer’s market on East Republic Road – and yes parents – there are even some fun-filled activities designed with you in mind.
But Jana, What Easter Activities Will Be Going on at the Farmer’s Market?
GREAT question – for one, there will be an Easter egg dying activity at the Aviary Café from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
Two, the Easter Bunny is sure to make his debut – great for getting those Easter photos.
Lastly, there is going to be some Easter eggs hiding in the garden.
If that isn’t enough, can I just say that frequenting the Springfield Farmer’s Market is already fun in and of itself? There are tons of vendors and local businesses which have some awesome products and deals. Where else can you get locally-procured honey? Or the ever-fragrant and popular goat milk soap from Windwood Farms? Where else can you get a locally-crafted beer at 11:00 am without the fear of being judged??! I really, really love this place. Getting back to the Easter festivities at the Farmer’s Market – the deets are below!
